In five spontaneous interactions spanning an hour, Ms. Anderson offered simple electric-violin figurations and melodic sketches, often electronically altered and accompanied with sounds from two tiny keyboards. Mr. Frith responded with textured scrubbing, percussive loops and discreet displays of lyrical guitar heroism. Some of what resulted would suit an imaginary western set in an alien world.
