Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) deputy secretary-general Snowdan Lawan has called on his detractors to furnish evidence that he had campaigned for his father Donald against the BN during the May 5 general election.
He maintained that he had never campaigned or supported his father’s decision to contest as an independent against PRS candidate Masir Kujat in Sri Aman.

He added that he had also texted Masing to inform him that he had remained neutral throughout the election period.
The four-cornered fight in Sri Aman was won by Masir. The other two candidates were Wilfred Landong of Sarawak Workers Party (SWP) and Nicholas Mujah of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).
“For now, I am just going to continue my duties as an elected representative as usual. I will also continue my normal business in the party, making preparations for the upcoming triennial delegates; conference (TDC),” said Snowdan.

“My father has accepted the result gracefully, and he stated that he is retiring from politics. Let’s put the matter to rest.”
