'Mesh Mask Bandit' captured

The FBI announced Friday it has arrested the man it dubbed the "Mesh Mask Bandit" after the mask worn in multiple bank robberies during the past six months.

According to the complaint and affidavit filed in the case, on April 22, the FBI was notified that the Wells Fargo Bank had been robbed by a Hispanic male wearing a disguise and armed with a handgun. Delagarza made his initial appearance in federal court Friday, at which time the judge ordered that he remain in custody. A preliminary hearing and motion to detain the defendant will be conducted on Tuesday.
