Carla Burns, Berrien High language arts teacher, submitted a favorite snapshot of the school's drama class. "I just happened to stumble across the contest in my email inbox. As soon as I entered the photo, my competitive side kicked in," Burns said. "I sent out five to six reminders a day to everyone I knew to vote for our school, but it really took off once our students got involved."

Burns also won a MacBook Pro computer for submitting the winning photo. The money awarded to Berrien High School will be used at the school's discretion, based on technological needs.
