Two women stripped off in front of stunned -passengers at an airport after sharing an early-morning bottle of wine, a court heard today.

In evidence, Hadfield Hyde admitted the pair shared a bottle of wine, but she denied being drunk and claimed security guard Abdullah Mayet had told them to take off all their clothes.

She said: “He was pointing a me saying saying, ‘off’. I said to him, ‘Do you mean just my jacket?’ But he was saying, ‘Off, off, all off.”

Mr Mayet denied this and Radha Vaithianathar, prosecuting, said: “This was some flight of fancy. I do not know what possessed you to take your clothes off but it wasn’t Mr Mayet.”

She said it was “not surprising” that both women had consumed alcohol beforehand.

Ms Brown said she felt “shocked” as stripping is “not something you do in the family lane in front of other passengers”.

Miss Vaithianathar told Trafford magistrates the pair were given chance to resolve the matter with a fixed penalty notice but had insisted on taking it court.

Mum-of-one Chadwick had initially denied the charge but changed her plea to guilty saying her actions had showed “a lack of judgement”.

But Hadfield-Hydetook it to a a one-day trial.
