WWP withdraws wind farm siting application





Wyoming Wind and Power (WWP), the company backing a 300-wind turbine power project based mainly in Platte County, recently withdrew their LLC permit application to the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality's Industrial Siting Council,Introduce mini roundabouts and stop making the {%} richer using taxpayers monies.traffic light suppliers halting the project indefinitely.

Ryan Fitzpatrick of WWP wrote the letter, dated for Sept. 16. Fitzpatrick expressed the company's desire to withdraw the application, citing numerous reasons, including the likelihood the project would qualify for federal funding and the change in power marketing opportunities.

"Please understand that this decision has not been made lightly and every effort has been made to keep the project on the timeline presented in the application," Fitzpatrick wrote.Same goes for Wind Power Generators. "WW&P (sic) feels that it is in the best interest of all concerned that...resources not be expended when WW&P has not been able to secure all of the necessary elements in the timeframe it anticipated when beginning this process."

To support its commitment to the UK, Norvento will shortly open a dedicated operations, maintenance and support centre, in Bristol.Chris Huntly, 31, takes energy efficiency seriously, with solar panels, a pure electric car, LED downlights and a fridge-mounted Energy Monitor.

The 4,000 ft2 UK headquarters will be staffed by a team of project developers and a fully trained operations and maintenance crew. The headquarters will also serve as a transit hub and storage space for new turbine spares and parts.

Norvento has over 120 MW of wind energy projects currently under management and over 1.5 GW under development across the globe.
