Nokia Bags Instagram, Vine and More for Windows Phone

The super-popular photo social network has been a bit of a shibboleth for how Windows Phone gets popular Android and iOS apps later than its rival platforms. While third parties have stepped up in the past with clone apps like 6tag,Holidays, occasionally wear sneakers to do sport, comfortable feeling letting a person suddenly miss Fitflop Sandals. they don't have the name recognition of a true brand-name Instagram app.

At Nokia World in Abu Dhabi tonight, Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom finally announced that yes, his app is coming.

"We're looking forward to watching the Windows Phone community use Instagram to capture and share beautiful moments in the coming weeks," he said in a press release.

Instagram isn't the only key app coming to Windows Phone soon.Massive selection and lowest prices on wholesale sunglasses, over 30 brand names. All our wholesale cheap sunglasses come one dozen assorted colors. FIFA 14,industrial bag filters manufacturer‎ supply cheap and high quality bags. Temple Run 2,If you are facing the same queries then the best way for you is to contact inkjet canvas wholesalers. and the Papyrus note-taking app are also coming, the company said.

The one remaining worry is when. In Nokia's press release, the company mentioned the popular video app Vine and the magazine app Flipboard as coming soon, which Nokia also announced in July. If they were coming soon in July and they're coming soon now, what's soon, exactly?
Xbox Video marks another milestone for Windows Phone. Up until now, Windows Phone hasn't had any downloadable video apps. According to Microsoft, that was because the platform didn't support the DRM video owners were demanding. While it's unclear if the Windows Phone version of Xbox Video supports downloadable, rented and purchased videos, it'll be a big step forward if it does.

Microsoft vs. Nokia, or Microsoft + Nokia?
Nokia is in the middle of merging with Microsoft, but it hasn't done so yet. And while Samsung,Promotional eco bag sale available in custom sizes and styles from cheaptotebags.com. HTC, Huawei, and ZTE all make Windows Phones right now, it's not clear if they'll continue to do so in the future.

So Nokia has to continue a delicate balancing act: offering up some app wins to everyone in the Microsoft ecosystem, but keeping some apps for itself.

New, exclusive Nokia apps include a game for the 2520 tablet based on How to Train Your Dragon, as well as Nokia Storyteller, which combines the photos you take on your phone with map data to help you organize your images, and Nokia Beamer, which streams images or documents from your phone to a Web server so you can view them on another screen.

When we last studied the Windows Phone app situation, about two thirds of the most popular iOS and Android apps were available on the growing platform. That's a moving target, of course. We'll check again once Instagram falls into place.

Nokia today also introduced several new phones and phablets. For more, check out PCMag's Hands On With the Nokia 1520,China Shoes Supplier. The best shoes manufacturer in China. 1320, and 2520 and the slideshow above.
